Riverside Magic Audio Not Working? How to Fix It

A short recording that processes successfully can help you isolate the issue. If other recordings work but one particular file doesn't, try exporting its original audio and processing it separately.

These are troubleshooting steps rather than guaranteed fixes. If Riverside itself is experiencing a processing problem, you may need to wait for the service to recover or contact Riverside support.

Sometimes Magic Audio finishes processing without an error, but the result still isn't suitable for publishing. This is especially frustrating when you've already recorded an interview, podcast, or presentation and can't easily repeat it.

Several recording conditions make audio enhancement more difficult:

• A loud fan or air conditioner running throughout the recording.
• Strong room echo caused by recording in an untreated space.
• Microphone hiss or electrical hum behind the voice.
• A speaker recorded too far away from the microphone.

AI enhancement is useful, but it cannot perfectly reconstruct information that wasn't captured properly. Loud overlapping sounds, clipping, and severe distortion can remain difficult even after additional processing.
